Welcome to my practice.

I’m Dr. Maggie Luckhardt, a licensed clinical psychologist based in Burlington, Vermont. I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel understood, supported, and more connected to themselves and to the important relationships in their lives. My early work centered on teens and young adults as they navigated a world full of change, pressure, and possibility. Over time, that passion naturally grew to include supporting parents, and now couples and other close relationships through Dialogue Therapy.

Across all ages and stages, my work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in the context of safe, authentic connection. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where clients can slow down, gain insight, and explore the patterns that shape their relationships and everyday experiences. By blending relational, insight-oriented therapy with behavioral-based approaches, and, for couples, the structured clarity of Dialogue Therapy, I help people move toward deeper understanding, emotional flexibility, and healthier ways of engaging with themselves and each other.

Whether you’re a young person figuring out who you are, a parent seeking clarity and support, or a couple hoping to break old cycles and reconnect, I’m here to help you navigate the challenges in front of you with compassion, curiosity, and a steady presence.

Dr. Luckhardt is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment to individuals of all races and ethnicities, immigrants and refugees, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people of all gender identities and expressions, individuals from all socioeconomic backgrounds, and people with disabilities. She is dedicated to ongoing reflection and improvement in her practice to better serve our diverse community and to uphold the principles of inclusivity and respect.
